Troop Elections

As a Scout-led troop, Troop 1630 strongly encourages all scouts to apply for a leadership position, whether at the Troop or Patrol level.  Every scout has the opportunity and potential to confidently lead his peers in the various positions available.

If you are First Class and above, you can run for the following positions:

All scouts vote for their new troop leadership, and all patrols elect new Patrol Leaders, Assistant Patrol Leaders and Quartermasters.

"We, Too, Have a Job To Do" is the title of this 1944 Norman Rockwell painting. Today, this title provides a theme that still accurately applies to the role of scouting today in building the strong leaders that we, as a community, nation and world, will need to continue toward a bright future tomorrow.
